frustum culling

Does Kit3D actually implement frustum culling?  I notice that when any point of an "object" goes behing the camera, the whole object disappears.  Would it be possible to implement a slightly more sophisticated way of doing this?

I notice in the source code there is a commented out "frustum" class, but this does not seem to be implemented in the code anywhere.  Is there any way to get this working?
